Acura will campaign an all-electric, NSX-inspired EV Concept in the Electric Modified Class at the 2016 Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. The Acura EV Concept features a further evolution of the experimental, all-electric, 4-motor Super Handling All-Wheel Drive™ (SH-AWD®) powertrain that won last year’s Pikes Peak Challenge Exhibition class.
With its innovative and elegant two-motor hybrid powertrain, the 2014-2015 Accord Hybrid set the benchmark for a mid-size hybrid sedan in refinement, advanced technology and class-leading fuel efficiency. The 2017 Accord Hybrid moves even further ahead of its competitors with the application of a second-generation two-motor hybrid system, providing class leading total system horsepower while still offering one of the best fuel economy in its class of Hybrid Intermediate sedan. The 2017 Accord Hybrid is also benefitting from the styling and technological enhancements made to the Accord lineup for model year 2016. From an Accord family perspective, the new Honda Accord Hybrid is the ultimate Accord, the most refined, technologically sophisticated and, of course, most fuel efficient model in the lineup.
The one-month countdown to Honda Indy Toronto is on and event organizers revealed today a robust line up of off-track activities for the upcoming festival, which runs July 15-17 at Exhibition Place.
Acura will field a pair of 2017 Acura NSX supercars in the 100th Anniversary of the running of the Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb on June 26, marking the North American racing debut of Acura’s next-generation NSX: the pinnacle expression of Acura Precision Crafted Performance and the only supercar made in America.
