Founded in 1969, Honda Canada now ranks as one of Canada's five largest Automobile Manufacturers, the largest retailer of Motorcycles and ATVs and one of the largest Power Equipment/Marine companies in Canada.
It is a Manufacturing Company
2005 marks Honda's 19th anniversary of manufacturing automobiles in Canada. Honda of Canada Mfg. (HCM) now has the capacity to produce 390,000 units annually at its 2 manufacturing plants located in Alliston, Ontario. HCM production serves not only the Canadian market, but is also exported to the United States, Japan and 10 other countries.

Working with over 50 Canadian suppliers located in Canada, Honda of Canada Mfg. has purchased over $5 billion in parts and materials from Canadian sources. Canadian purchases continue to escalate with Honda's sustained growth in Canada.

Founded in 1987, Honda Canada Finance Inc. provides wholesale financing to Honda dealers as well as retail and lease financing to consumers of Honda products. These services are available for Honda and Acura automobiles, as well as on motorcycles, ATVs, marine products and selected used Honda and Acura automobiles.

Honda manufacturing operations in Canada and throughout the world, have made a significant commitment to the environment. Honda of Canada Mfg. has met the strict ISO 14001 international environmental standards, which cover areas including waste disposal, water treatment and energy use. Honda of Canada Mfg. recycles 98% of its waste materials and is the proud recipient of the Recycling Council of Ontario's Award for its comprehensive waste reduction and recycling programs.
